The devices combine the perimeter video security of thermal cameras with precise temperature measurement of everything within the field of view. The dual-role cameras let operators remotely monitor the condition of components within a substation with the same cameras used to provide perimeter video security while also providing uninterrupted, real-time temperature measurement and difference analysis. Using a full suite of company analytics, the cameras help protect against revenue loss due to unplanned shutdowns.
