The A40 and A70 models in Teledyne FLIR’s Axx-Series have received UL 2684 listing as thermal image fire detectors. The cameras measure temperatures within designated areas and trigger alarms based on temperature thresholds, differences between areas or rates of increase. An integrated visible-light camera provides video for reviewing alarms. The North American listing supports technical submissions for European projects, where applicable regional, national and project approval requirements remain in effect.
