Platinum Tools launches the next generation VDV MapMaster 3.0 cable tester. The VDV MapMaster 3.0 tests shielded and unshielded cables, voices and coax. It is capable of identifying and mapping 20 locations at one time. The large backlit display, glow-in-the-dark keypad, and built-in flashlight help make the tool more functional as well.

It also provides the ability to define access rights at a granular level.

FJM Security Products
FJM Security Products announced an addition to the Combi-Cam E-Series electronic cabinet locks - the RFID Combi-Cam electronic locker lock that has a 10 year battery life, master/manager code, one-time-use functionality and compact size. The RFID lock can be programmed to either accept numerical input or RFID cards. With manager/master code functionality and higher reliability, the E-Series RFID locks for lockers offers both surface and semi-flush mounting – perfect for lockers, mailboxes, or cabinet doors. Tyco Security Products introduces version 4.9 of the American Dynamics’ victor Video Management System and VideoEdge network video recorders (NVR). VideoEdge now automatically configures and optimizes second stream video transmission to reduce bandwidth usage within victor for streams displayed on mobile devices or other constrained environments. This also enables motion detection to be configured automatically out of the box. Automatic motion detection enables Smart Search capabilities and Smart Streaming so users will always have these capabilities available to them without additional setup.
