The Passport enrollment process allows users to submit a passport-compliant photo taken on mobile phones or upload a suitable photo to the website, where advanced biometric algorithms test each one to ensure ICAO standards are reached. Once fees have been paid, the user receives a secure polycarbonate card with embedded hologram and crack prevention.

Swann Security
Swann unveiled the latest addition to its DIY home security line, the HD Digital Video Surveillance System. The system includes a DVR with hard drive, two PRO-T850 720p cameras, two PRO-T855 1080p cameras and the equipment needed to set up the system. The system can continuously record for more than 10 days onto a one terabyte hard drive and allows for live viewing and playback on mobile devices via the free SwannView Plus app.
Senstar
Senstar announced Gallium-PDS, a passive detection system that detects and locates the illegal use of mobile devices. The product is built around affordable signal processors that cover a wide ratio frequency range. A network of sensors and processors correlate received cellular signals and generates a map of the transmitting devices, with an accuracy of a few meters. The results are superimposed on the building’s floorplan which enables a response force to quickly act on the violation.

Logic Supply launched a new line of rugged COTS computers from MIL-Spec computer hardware specialists Perfectron. Fibar Group introduced FIBARO SWIPE, the first control pad that allows users to control home automation devices through gestures without touching any devices or ever having to take out a smart phone or tablet. By recognizing six simple gestures SWIPE uses Z-Wave wireless technology to perform home control activities like turning lights on or off, lowering and raising blinds, dimming and brightening lights, running complete automated scenes and more. Genetec Inc. announced AutoVu Free-Flow, a new parking module for the AutoVu automatic license place recognition solution. The new module helps increase parking enforcement efficiency by providing a real-time inventory of vehicles parked illegally in monitored parking lots. It records the license plate of vehicles entering and leaving each parking lot and compares them to the list of payments received from connected pay-by-plate enabled parking stations. Vehicles beyond their paid amount of parking time are flagged in a live report.
Hoyos Corp.
HOYOS Labs announced the unveiling of its proprietary four-finger authentication technology, 4F ID. The technology uses a smartphone’s rear camera and LED flash light, without any additional hardware, to capture a person’s four fingerprints leading to much higher reliability and security for the user. With the identification of a larger portion of a hand, the system automatically finds, acquires and identifies the person’s prints, proving the true identity.
Wonwoo USA
Wonwoo introduces the MB-308 box zoom camera. The camera gets up to 30 times the original optical view zoom can caption full HD video over 1,200 feet away. It includes noise reduction, digital slow shutter and a digital image stabilizer. The camera has advanced contract enhancement, allowing color to be seen well through the captured video.

AlarmNet has expanded its integration with I-View Now to support Video Alarm Verification with Honeywell Total Connect 2.0 Remote Services. I-View Now is a cloud-based technology that supports VAV for an informed, rapid alarm response in residential or small commercial settings. The VAV solution now allows monitoring personnel to access ten second video clips from the cameras to help determine what happened with pre- and post-alarm footage.
