ComNet’s NetWave NW8 wireless Ethernet link is designed to support redundant ring and “drop-and-insert” functionality on a wireless network. The NW8 is a dual radio version of the recently introduced NW series of environmentally hardened wireless Ethernet products. ComNet positions this product as a solution for large-scale perimeter protection for facilities such as airports, border patrol and other large facilities where a wired infrastructure is cost-prohibitive.
