Continental Access
The CA3000 version 2.9 software provides robust access control functionality and seamless integration with alarms, locking and a growing list of video systems, while also offering a host of many new features including the ability to run the CardAccess 3000 and associated applications as Windows services and the ability to control access to the CardAccess GUI using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Support for Continental’s new Super-Speed 16 door Accelaterm Controller is also available. Plus, more video integration partners have been added to their list, now including Pelco, HiTron, Milestone, Dedicated Micros, Salient and Integral.
Medeco Security Locks
Medeco’s Deadbolt Selector, an online tool, first determines if the customer requires commercial or residential-grade locks. Then, users choose the function they prefer: Single Cylinder, which uses a thumbturn on the inside of the lock; Double Cylinder, which uses a key on both sides of the door to lock and unlock; or a Removeable Thrumburn, which uses a thumbturn on the inside that can be easily removed. Users are then able to choose the backset they require along with either a rectangular or round latch. Lastly, by choosing a finish from the array of different colors, the customer is given the proper deadbolt part number and submits the information to receive an estimate that will be forwarded to the Medeco Service Center closest to the customer’s zip code.

HID Global’s iCLASS SE platform enables customers to future-proof their access control systems while simplifying how identities are created, used and managed, across a broad range of applications using smart cards, smartphones and other mobile devices. The platform includes eco-friendly, field upgradeable readers that support Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP), smart cards and microprocessor based cards, including iCLASS Seos credentials that are portable for use on smartphones. HID Global’s iCLASS SE Encoder enables organizations to encode and instantly issue cards using a single device. The multi-technology encoder gives organizations the convenience of encoding a broad range of current and future technologies.
CyberLock
The CyberKey Air is a programmable smart key that can be uploaded with key-holder schedules and permissions for accessing CyberLock electronic cylinders. The battery from the key energizes the electronics within a CyberLock cylinder allowing for locks to be installed virtually anywhere without power or wiring. The CyberKey Air is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing for wireless key programming of access schedules and permissions as well as real-time tracking and reporting of access events.
ATV
ATV offers two specialty cameras: IPMC2M & IPMC2MA. Both cameras come with a 2MP, 1600 x 1200 resolution for clear video quality and are ONIF compliant for network video interoperability. The cameras feature H.264 compression, a fixed 2.6mm wide angle lens and both PoE and 5VDC power. They provide triple video streaming and a Micro-SD card slot for local on-board camera recording. The IPMC2MA is equipped with PIR motion sensor and two-way audio.
Honeywell Security & Communications
Honeywell’s newest WIN-PAK integrated security system software allows integrators to more easily create a connected business environment to meet a broad spectrum of user needs, ranging from entry level to large, multi-location applications. The three versions of WIN-PAK 4.0 accommodate a range of needs, from access control only to a fully integrated security system, depending on a user’s requirements. Honeywell further expanded its portfolio with two releases that complement the WIN-PAK 4.0 software suite: the new Software Maintenance Upgrade (SMU) program and the PRO3200 access control panel.
Geutebruck
Geutebruck’s professional IP thermal cameras are ideal for unobtrusive video surveillance or video motion detection in total darkness, mist or smoke. Bilco’s CNIguard intrusion detection system is specifically designed to protect access points in drinking water distribution systems against the threat of intentional contamination. The system uses a patented Smart Sensing Technology to detect tampering such as drilling, grinding and cutting, while virtually eliminating costly false alarms. The computerized system has the ability to distinguish between real threats and common occurrences such as heavy rain and hail and is rated for a maximum of one false alarm per year. CNIguard does not rely on human interpretation to determine if a threat is real.
