CBC (America) Corp. has announced a new family of IP cameras have been added to the Ganz PixelPro series.
The cameras feature GXi technology, which maximized surveillance capabilities by bringing an added feature set of imbedded intelligence.
They also offer wide dynamic range performance and full video recording to SD card to an already feature-rich IP camera series.
The imbedded intelligence technology provides intelligent analysis of video with application areas, including intrusion detection, vehicle monitoring, abandoned-object detection, people counting and loitering detection.
Other features include video motion detection, triple power, dual-streaming IP video, true day/night performance and ProSet, allowing zoom and focus directly from your PC.
Fluidmesh Networks
Fluidmesh Networks has released of its newest radio offering, the FM1200 VOLO.
This generation of radios is engineered for outdoor wireless IP backhauling, the result of a decade of ground-breaking research in wireless communication.

AvaLAN Wireless
AvaLAN Wireless has just released their new 5.8 Outdoor Ethernet Radios that now have a 1 Watt transmit, built-in lightning arrestors and LEDs to monitor activity and quality.
These radios allow you to build line-of-sight, point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless Ethernet connections with range up to 30 miles.
These 100 MBps and 300 MBps units are available as access points, subscriber units and as a preconfigured pair.
Bosch
Bosch launches FLEXIDOME IP corner 9000 camera that can be used in critical areas such as bus stations, care facilities and hospitals. It provides clear, usable images in complete darkness and is vandal-proof and tamper-resistant.
The 9000 camera has high-resolution optics for maximum detail and image usability, as well as wide-angle fisheye lends for covering every corner.
Integrated active infrared LEDs maintain video clarity even in complete darkness.
Rugged, non-grip design makes the cameras extremely difficult to tamper with.
Equipped with content based imaging technology, lowering bandwidth consumption and reducing storage costs by up to 50 percent.
Aerionics
The Macurco MRS-485 output is connected via a four terminal screw type connector.
The MRS-485 is wired in the standard 2W-Modbus circuits definition with selectable built-in terminating resistors at the ends of the RS-485 bus.
The power for the MRS-485 adapter is connected via a two terminal screw type connector, 12 to 24 VAC or 12 to 24 VDC and no polarity. The MRS-485 accepts the 4-20mA output and is powered from the same connection as the detector.
The MRS-485 has the ability to interface with Building Automation Systems, Control Panels or other Control Devices that accept Modbus communications. MRS-485 operates in the RTU Modbus Transmission Mode.

TiCAM 750 from Thermoteknix is the range of lightweight, military specification handheld devices for reconnaissance, border security, target acquisition, counter drug operations, police surveillance, force protection, and general situational awareness in the field. TiCAM will detect a man at over two kilometers. At the heart of TiCAM 750 is Thermoteknix’ MicroCAM, the lowest power-consuming thermal imaging module in its class giving up to eight hours continuous field operation from 4 x AA batteries without the need for cumbersome external batteries or battery packs.

Transducers USA’s TRIP80 series of audio alerts provides a sound volume 100dBA in a package of only 26 by 27mm in size. Ideally suitable for industrial control, automation and a myriad of alarm applications where small size and sound output are prime considerations where noisy environments can be intimidating to alert requirements. Available in PC (P) pin or wire termination (L) configurations, the TRIP80 operating voltage range is at 8 to 16 VDC at 25Ma max.

Quantum Technology Services
Quantum Technology Sciences has developed a new digital seismic-acoustic unattended ground sensor to support several security and surveillance products. The sensor technology is solid state, with no moving parts or required special handling. The cylindrical sensor, 2 x 2 inches, weighs only 3.5 ounces. The system has a very wide dynamic range and is omnidirectional, detecting and classifying human footsteps more than 150 feet away. It also detects and classifies land, water, and air vehicles, digging, machinery, and tunneling. Other features include integrability with other systems, wireline or RF communications, and power management to support remote long life applications.

Axis announced two new network cameras designed for high movement scenes and demanding lighting conditions. The indoor AXIS Q1614 and outdoor ready AXIS Q1614-E Network Cameras offer high video performance and innovative installation features ideal for traffic monitoring, city surveillance and industrial applications. Exciting features of AXIS Q1614/-E include: HDTV 720p video up to 60 frames per second and WDR-Dynamic Capture for high contrast scenes.
CyberLock
The CyberLock access control system of electronic locks and smart keys provides users with a flexible, affordable, and comprehensive security solution. CyberLock cylinders install without power or wiring, allowing for access control even during network and power outages. Both the lock and key record openings and unauthorized attempts to enter, providing a detailed audit report of all access activity. Keys are programmed for each user, detailing what locks it can open and when, and can be quickly deactivated if lost or stolen.

ELK Products announces their ELK-WSV2 Water Shutoff Valve. The WSV2 is a new and improved model of our highly popular electric water shutoff valve. In a crash test, Delta Scientific’s new DSC720-1M bollards, created to stop taller trucks such as those found in Europe and the Mideast from tumbling over anti-terrorist crash-proof bollards, stopped a 15,000 pound (66.7 Km) flatbed truck impacting at 50 miles per hour (80 kph) with a -0.5 meter penetration of the vehicle, creating an M50, P1 ASTM rating. The bollards caused severe damage to the engine and drive train. The new bollards feature a variety of power options including Delta’s hydraulic power unit (HPU), all-weather pneumatic, electro-mechanical, manual or fixed post.

ComNet introduces a six-port self-managed Ethernet switch, the CNGE2FE4SMS. The switch has four copper TX ports and two Gigabit SFP Ethernet ports. This allows the Ethernet data from the four TX ports be combined and uplinked through the Gbps SFP port. It also allows multiple CNGE2FE4SMS units to be daisy-chained together through the gigabit backbone. It can support a large number of IP cameras depending on the selected camera’s bit rate. The gigabit uplink capability can handle a larger number of cameras as compared to the company’s other SMS products.
