Grandstream Networks
The GXV3674 Variable-focal HD IP cameras from Grandstream—which can be used for indoor or outdoor usage prone to weather and light changes—feature an adjustable lens for clear monitoring, 1.2 Megapixel and 3.1 Megapixel CMOS sensors, integrated PoE, advanced security and MPEG at 720p/1080p resolutions, depending on the model. EMI Security Products
The MMLCDC-W is a telescoping mount designed to suspend an LCD screen from the ceiling. The flexible design allows one to position the monitor anywhere from 32” to 51” from the ceiling in 5” increments. The unit also features full 360° rotation and a vertically pivoting screen mounting plate that can control the monitor viewing angle. The suspension device includes all-steel construction and can support LCD screens that weight up to 100 pounds.

Schneider Electric has announced the release of its new Pelco Spectra High-Definition 1080 3X dome positioning system, which features a clearer image with higher resolution. The dome has Sarix technology, a solid pendant design, an optically precise bubble, built-in analytics and AutoTracker, which allows users to define the size of the object of interest and track it.
System Sensor
System Sensor has released a CO-PLATE carbon monoxide detector designed to keep system-connected carbon monoxide (CO) detectors alive as they reach the end of their life. Instead of commercial and residential companies having to install a completely new device, they can attach the plate over the existing one, transforming it into the CO1224T Carbon Monoxide Detector with RealTest, the only CO test fully compliant with NFPA 720:2009. In addition to saving customers money, the plate provides a low-profile, clean finish.

The switching capability allows customers to fully integrate their switching needs with FortiGate platforms.

SymmetryWEB from AMAG Technology allows an unlimited amount of users to remotely access a Symmetry Security Management System via a web interface to manage security. The user-friendly interface enables remote card holder and credential management for the Symmetry SMS and security personnel can set up new card holders and assign rights.
Honeywell Fire Systems
NOTIFIER by Honeywell has released the First Command emergency communication system (ECS), which interfaces with any existing commercial fire alarm to provide pre-recorded emergency messages and alerts. The system can help small, standalone facilities be assured they have an emergency communication system that is not only reliable, but also economical. Users can pre-record both general and emergency messages to then be broadcasted live in the event of an emergency. Each system can support up to 8 remote control panels and microphone consoles and as many as 14 pre-recorded messages can be used for any one facility.
Samsung Electronics
Samsung’s Network Camera captures FULL HD images in complete and total darkness of 0Lux, up to 328ft. This network 360 degree PTZ dome comes with a 20x optical zoom and focused IR illumination. With the Samsung Network camera’s variable intensity IR illuminators, you no longer have to worry about hotspots in the middle or fringing on the edges on the image. The IR illuminators move synchronously with the optical zoom lens to give you a uniformly distributed illumination in complete and total darkness in full 1080p HD (1920x1080). This Onvif compliant camera also boasts such features as Wide Dynamic Range of 60db, Video Analytics, Bi-Directional audio, and edge recording using SD or SDHC cards. The SNP-6200RH is made to withstand harsh weather environments; it has an IP66 environment protected and IK10 vandal resistant rating.

Sans Digital has released a series of half 4U 4 bay network attached storage (NAS) systems for automated data backup to offline media. The half 4U design allows for the unit to be mounted on a 4U height rack space in a data environment. The new series of units features three models, AN4L+BBKU, AN4L+BBKU and AN4L+BLT6.
Honeywell Fire Systems
Silent Night by Honeywell introduces the Farenhyt IDP-FIRE-CO detector, a device that uses four different sensors to detect fire and carbon monoxide and eliminates the need for two separate units. The detector uses a B200S sounder base to emit customized tones that differentiate between a fire and CO in the air. The four different sensors look for smoke, CO, light/flames and heat to accurately identify an event. In addition, the device has a nuisance alarm rejection capability that can serve well in areas that have burnt food, shower steam, frequent temperature changes and more.
ICE Cable Systems
ICE Cable Systems’ new Big Mouth Payout (BMP) bulk wire and cable box uses a handful of design advantages to help the user run a more efficient jobsite. The device features a 4-inch payout hole with a proprietary cable-winding pattern, ascending and descending foot-markers, and a durable, weather-resistant cardboard box that can withstand 21 kilograms of force. It can also prevent against kinking, knotting, recoil and tangling.
Sensoray
Sensoray’s small form factor PCI Express board allows users to capture four channels of video and four channels of stereo/mono audio at the same time. The product features super low latency video preview concurrent with compressed capture, an extended temperature range, text overlay and can support both stack-up and stack-down. Each video channel can capture at 30 fps for NTSC or 25 fps for PAL. The unit can produce two different video streams from a single composite video input-one stream can be a low-latency stream and the other compressed, or both compressed.

Addonics Technologies introduces the Secure NAS, which combines RAID, Network Attached Stored, Direct Attached Storage and hardware AES 256-bit encryption. It can be used for securely transporting large volumes of data between locations, storing large volumes of sensitive data or protecting against data theft. The Secure NAS can be attached to any system via eSATA connection and data can be shared over a 1 Gigabit network.

The Situator Express from NICE Systems serves as a new and advanced management layer for the NiceVision IP video surveillance system. The solution fuses the already existing video surveillance system with additional security systems, such as multi-vendor video, access control, intrusion detection and fire detection by using smart sensor correlation and automatic adaptive workflows. Situator Express enables companies to more easily focus on their core security challenges.
Quantum Technology Services
The new digital seismic-acoustic unattended ground sensor from Quantum Technology Services has a wide, omnidirectional range which can detect footsteps more than 150 feet away. The 2 x 2 in. cylindrical sensor can also detect and classify land, water and air vehicles, digging, machinery and tunneling. The device—which has no moving parts—also features integrability with other systems, no special handling requirements, power management to support remote long life applications and more.
SecurityMan Carcam SD can do automatic video recording and save to micro SD (not included) when ignition is on. The recorded video clips or photos can provide information about the weather, traffic, road condition, and activities of the driver during an accident. It can also record events on the road that can be helpful if there are any legal complications. The Carcam-SD is equipped with an “impact sensing recording” feature that automatically locks recorded files whenever impact occurs, keeping them from being overwritten by the system.

SecuraKey has improved upon their already existing SK-NET systems by introducing the NOVA.16 multi-reader access control panel. The panels connect to a local network as well as a peripheral network which can support up to 16 Smart Readers which each control a door or gate. All door connections are made at the Smart Reader¬-no cable home runs from door to door. Each smart reader has a solid-state Strike Relay, two Open Collector outputs, four inputs and it only requires a twisted pair for RS485 data and a pair for DC power.
