B and B Electronics
B&B Electronics launched its next generation PoE (Power over Ethernet) and PoE+ media converters featuring gigabit (1000Mbps) speed. The new converters can power remote, high-bandwidth devices that require gigabit speed that lack a nearby power outlet over existing copper wire infrastructure (CAT5 cable or better), concurrently with the Ethernet data stream. Such high-bandwidth devices include IP surveillance cameras, plant equipment, VoIP phones and RFID readers.
MuxLab Inc.
The Multimedia 16x16 Matrix Switch System is a modular AV switching platform that converts and switches a wide range of digital and analog AV inputs to HDMI via HDBaseT over Cat5e/6 cable. The switch features an 8-slot chassis that allows up to four 4-port input modules to be switched to up to four 4-port output modules for a maximum switching capacity of 16x16. The Matrix Switch is managed via front panel controls, RS232, USB, web server interface and third party drivers, and features dual-redundant power supplies for ease of service. The Matrix Switch works with the 500451-Rx HDMI receiver to convert all AV inputs to HDMI. The Multimedia 16x16 Matrix Switch (50047x) Supports Control4! MuxLab is currently finalizing its Control4 driver for the matrix switch and is currently testing it with Control4 dealers. The Control4 driver will allow the matrix switch to integrate with Control4 home automation and commercial AV systems via RS232 and LAN.

Mango Technology’s 4, 8, and 16-channel HD-SDI Digital Video Recorders support up to full HD (1920 x 1080) and H.264 compression with recording rates up to 30FPS, per channel. It supports up to 8TB of storage - more with external e-SATA drives. Also included is central management software supporting up to 64 cameras and a mobile application for remote viewing.
Corvus Integration Inc
Corvus Integration, Inc., in partnership with Vista Imaging, Inc. has released the VistaEY2-2 dual iris and face camera. It is a complete, single-gesture, multi-model, biometric peripheral for Windows, CE, XP, Vista, 7 and Linux OS platforms. This camera can simultaneously capture ISO/IEC 19794-5/6 compliant images of both irises and face at a distance of 22”. Custom optics, multi-wavelength IR illumination and a tri-color RGB LED light pipe ring indicator are coupled with proprietary distance sensing to provide accurate focus analysis and auto acquisition capabilities.
Orlaco
Orlaco Products has developed quality camera systems for ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) vehicles. Orlaco offers several total (plug & play) vision solutions for airport crash trucks. Their DEVS basic solution contains a robust, waterproof thermal imaging (far infrared) camera, mounted on a pan & tilt unit, with tailor-made cables and a 12” display. The system is controlled by joystick. As recommended by the FAA advisory, it is possible to build out the system with an easy yet durable video recorder. Next to that, more and more customers want to include a daylight zoom camera, rearview camera and even sideview cameras. The whole system is modular, so Orlaco can configure it to meet the customer’s requirements. Last but not least, Orlaco can carry out control integration in, for example, the ARFF Vehicle’s CANbus system.

They represent a breakthrough in light sensitivity in cameras, showing color images where others can show only monochrome and transmitting monochrome video when others show no image at all. The Ganz PixelPro Series, a full line of HD-optimized, IP cameras has added new models with the capability to produce clearer images in extremely low-light environments. The new bullet, indoor dome, outdoor dome and 20x PTZ dome all feature better low-light performance and finer picture quality. The bullet model features a built-in, 3-9mm Varifocal and 42 IR LEDs for over 100’ of illumination. It is IP66-rated for all weather performance and has a built-in fan and heater. A mounting bracket and sunshield are also included.

AxxonSoft is proud to present version 3.1 of the Axxon Next VMS. Many new features have been added to Axxon Next 3.1, making workflows more efficient, which improves ease-of-use, reduces server and client resource use and slims the bandwidth footprint. Green Stream is a core innovation for more efficient resource use. The Green Stream feature automatically chooses a video stream from a camera to the server, and then to the client, depending on the resolution at which the video is currently displayed on the client. A "lighter" stream saves bandwidth and client CPU resources. Another feature for efficiency concerns the Camera Tampering and Failure Detection tools: only keyframes (H.264, MPEG) or frames down sampled at 2 fps (MJPEG) are decoded, not the entire video stream. This reduces the burden on the video server CPU and allows handling more video channels on a single server.
