Complete Inspection Systems
Unlike traditional 2D barcodes, which are limited to approximately 4 kilobytes of data, HD Barcode stores up to 703 kilobytes of data allowing detailed comprehensive information, including full color images. No Internet needed. To ensure security, HD Barcode is generated using a micro pc “black box” that provides a unique license for a specific number of barcodes assigned only to that customer and their printer. Custom Android, iOS Smartphones or code reader applications scan and decode HD Barcode providing conclusive data from images to secure information revealing any diversions or copying of the identification card.

Secura Key’s new SK-ACPE-LE 2-door access control panel, based on the powerful ARM Cortex M3, 32-bit RISC processor, provides a major technology upgrade to the legacy SK-ACP panel. The SK-ACPE-LE features onboard Ethernet and RS485 communications lines hardened with gas discharge tube surge suppression. The SK-ACPE-LE has a 3-Amp heavy-duty power supply with power line noise immunity, and it continually monitors backup battery status. Communications speeds and transaction storage capacity have more than doubled. The SK-ACPE-LE is a drop-in replacement for the SK-ACP, with identical field wire connections and compatible functionality.
The SafeAwake smoke alarm aid works with a household smoke alarm providing additional life-saving fire emergency notification while a person sleeps. Its tactile stimulator feels like a stiff poke in the ribs and the low frequency, high decibel alarm is easier to hear than the high frequency sound of a smoke alarm for seniors whose hearing has diminished with age. The Onity wireless lock offers decision making at the lock. WaterCop Z-Wave combines the trusted WaterCop system benefits of early electronic leak detection and automatic water shut-off with the additional feature of operating in a Z-Wave enabled network. Exacq Technologies, a manufacturer of video management system (VMS) software and servers used for video surveillance, has released version 5.6 of its exacqVision VMS software for use with network video surveillance systems. The latest version adds archiving enhancements, custom layouts, email notifications, new and updated IP camera integrations and more. exacqVision 5.6 allows users to configure each video server to archive to a networked storage location using the client. This latest version of archiving in the exacqVision VMS gives users greater flexibility to configure where video and audio is to be archived, what exactly will be archived and when the process will take place, allowing for optimal network performance times.

Genetec announced the availability of Stratocast, its powerful Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) powered by Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Azure cloud-computing platform. Stratocast delivers high-end and reliable video surveillance service for small and mid-sized businesses, without the costs and complexities associated with installing and managing on-premise hardware and storage. Stratocast also offers a perfect hybrid solution for Genetec enterprise customers to easily deploy video surveillance within satellite or remote locations.
ComNet
ComNet introduced a video encoder/decoder designed for those applications where temperature extremes, vibration, shock, voltage transients and humidity with condensation are present. The all-new CNVETX1 video encoder/decoder is industrially hardened for use in the most extreme operating environments. The CNVETX1 is a single channel video encoder or decoder. It accepts an incoming baseband video signal with duplex audio and serial data for camera PTZ control, encodes it to H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-2 or MJPEG video compression standards and inserts it onto an Ethernet network.
Cooper Lighting
Cooper Lighting, a division of diversified power management company Eaton, has expanded its Lumark Crosstour Light Emitting Diode (LED) line of wall packs to include the Crosstour MAXX luminaires. Designed to efficiently satisfy high lumen output needs, the Lumark Crosstour MAXX LED wall pack and site luminaires deliver up to 7,416 lumens replacing up to a 400-watt metal halide fixture, while consuming only 85 watts and providing up to 85 percent in energy and maintenance savings. Available in both full cutoff and refractive lens designs, the Crosstour MAXX series is offered in four lumen packages, including two 50-watt and two 85-watt configurations to replace 250-watt and 400-watt metal halide fixtures, respectively. Products are available in both 3500 kilowatt (K) and 5000K correlated color temperatures and are suitable for professional buildings, pedestrian walkways, loading docks and parking areas, among others.
