ADT, Qwest Announce Partnership

Qwest Communications and ADT Security recently announced an agreement to customers who purchase their respective complementary communications and security services.

Qwest customers can select a security solution, which includes a $200 cash-back offer from ADT, when they choose any new Qwest service and purchase or reactivate an ADT security system.

New Qwest Broadband customers also receive Windows Live services, a comprehensive Internet security, maintenance and data back-up service that protects against viruses, hackers and other on-line intruders

"At ADT, the safety and security of our customers is our number one priority," said Jason Nordin, ADT group director for strategy and business development. "We appreciate Qwest's commitment to reliability and believe it makes good sense to offer our common customers an affordable way to acquire both home and Internet security that helps protect the people and possessions they value most."

"Qwest provides cost-effective and reliable communications services to our residential and small-business customers, and our agreement with ADT allows us to go one step further to help customers secure their homes," said Kim Schram, director of Qwest Emerging Markets.
