Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies Wins American Institute Of Architects Award
Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies recently announced that the company has received notification that it has won the American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2008 Continuing Education System (CES) Award for Excellence in the Stakeholder, Commercial Provider Category with a maximum rating of five stars. In the Stakeholder category, the AIA CES’ judges examine the entrants’ commitment and support.
This includes reviewing the company’s structure for analyzing the educational needs and professional development of the architect and the way the company creates and delivers continuing education. They also delve into how the company identifies, develops and supports program designers and faculty. Judges also examine the methods the company uses to evaluate its educational performance, make improvements, and provide participant feedback. Lastly, judges want to know how the entrant partners with other providers.

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has 36 full-time architectural sales consultants whose primary role is education and service to the architectural community. These consultants are experts in life safety codes, building security, and the full range of door hardware and its many possible configurations. They are provided opportunities to develop their presentation skills, and are given the tools and the curriculum to present effectively.”
