First ANSI/ISEA 110-2003 Smoke Escape Hood Introduced

Elmridge Protection Products, LLC announces that it is the first company ever to earn certification for a Smoke Escape Hood for compliance with ANSI/ISEA 110 -2003, the American National Standard for Air-Purifying Protective Smoke Escape Devices. The Certification was awarded to the iEvac® Fire Escape Hood by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI).

"We are proud that our iEvac Fire Escape Hood is the first product in the world to gain this certification," said Ira Gurvitch, president and founder of Elmridge. "This is another example of American innovation creating a product to meet a real need. The iEvac Fire Escape Hood is designed to provide protection from fire-generated hazards and permit the wearer to escape from a dangerous situation. This designation sets the iEvac Fire Escape Hood apart from every other mask or hood that is being offered. No other product is certified to the ANSI/ISEA 110-2003 Standard. Now people have a choice. They can still buy a non-certified smoke mask and hope that it just might work, or get an iEvac Fire Escape Hood and be sure that it does."

This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.” 3
