IndigoVision Wins Two Security Excellence Awards

IndigoVision recently won two awards at the 2008 Security Excellence Awards held at London's Park Lane Hilton Hotel on October 9.

IndigoVision won the International Achievement and Security Manufacturer of the Year awards. The awards were judged by a panel of leading industry figures and editors from the UK’s top security publications. Uniquely, however, the winner of the Security Manufacturer of the Year award was chosen by the industry itself from a group of 20 leading security companies, using an online vote.

The International Achievement award recognized IndigoVision’s export success for IP video in the worldwide Casino market. Since entering this market in 2006, IndigoVision has won contracts to supply fully digital IP-CCTV solutions for 25 casinos in seven countries, including a recent project involving nine casinos in Chile. All these have been in full compliance with local gaming boards’ strict regulations and represent a total of more than 8,000 cameras.

IndigoVision was chosen by the industry for Security Manufacturer of the Year because the company demonstrated outstanding service and made a significant contribution to the market during the last year.

"I am delighted with the awards and in particular that they recognize the hard work that all the staff have put into IndigoVision’s recent success," said Oliver Vellacott, IndigoVision's CEO.

IndigoVision has more than 1,000 major CCTV surveillance installations worldwide including two Olympic Games, the 2006 Soccer World Cup, seven major rail networks, two of the world's top five banks and 28 airports.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
