Public Security & Safety Expo To Be Co-Located With ISC West 2009

Reed Exhibitions, producers of ISC East and West, is launching the Public Security & Safety Expo, to be co-located with ISC West event -- April 1-3, 2009.

The Public Security & Safety Expo is a targeted, appointment-driven event, providing manufacturers and service providers in the public and private sectors with the opportunity to meet security professionals who are responsible for the public’s security in municipalities, homeland security and infrastructures.

Invited buyers will have the opportunity to pitch projects, challenge product capabilities and ultimately take advantage of this unique buying and selling environment to ensure that the growing security needs of the public security sector are met in an efficient way.

The Public Security & Safety Exposition will focus on products and content in the following areas: law enforcement, urban security, campus and institutional security and transportation/infrastructure. Manufacturers serving these specific sectors will be showcasing their products and services specifically to targeted buyers for each segment as well as to the more than 27,000 industry professionals who attend ISC West annually.

“Public Security & Safety Expo is a new model for the security industry,” said Ed Nichols, vice president of the ISC events. “The unique opportunity is for the VIP buyer to drive the relationship and interaction with the manufacturer via personal meetings and pre-arranged presentations and demonstrations to facilitate and perhaps shorten a complex buying process. An additional benefit is the co-location with ISC West, where the government integrator and/or end-user will then have the opportunity to walk the ISC West show floor with more than 1,200 manufacturers.”

Public Security & Safety Expo will draw from the rich ISC West and East database and will be fortified through new publication and association partnerships in each of the specific sectors.
