Senture Security Solutions, CoreStreet Announce Partnership

Senture Security Solutions LLC, a full service security solutions integrator, and CoreStreet, provider of credential validation solutions, recently announced the companies will team up to deploy national security programs for both the maritime and transportation industries, as well as the defense, homeland security and emergency management markets.

With more than 10 years of smart card and biometrics experience, Senture offers its customers a unique balance of Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) regulatory and technical expertise. Maintaining product and technology neutrality, customers benefit from Senture’s best-in-class hardware and software components to complement its TWICReady!® services.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN for TWIC Solution enables Transportation Security Administration approved mobile devices to verify the identity and attributes of TWIC card carriers. The CoreStreet Enabled devices are synchronized with the authoritative source for this information, the TSA TWIC hotlist. By having this secured data resident on mobile devices, operators have the ability to determine if the TWIC credential is still valid.

“Implementation of TWIC credentials will vastly improve the security of port facilities,” said Ed Merkle, director of port security and emergency operations, Virginia Port Authority. “We turned to Senture to provide us with end-to-end services for the implementation of TWIC, based on their ability to deliver best-of-market solutions using CoreStreet’s TWIC compliance software.”

Unlike many other point solutions, the CoreStreet for TWIC Solution has upgrade options to validate and verify off card attributes for the Department of Defense’s Common Access Card (CAC), the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards used by civilian agencies and the Emergency Response Official Community’s First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC) used by federal and state emergency management officials. This allows mobile operators to make the same type of informed decisions whether presented with TWIC, FRAC, PIV or CAC credentials.

“As the only company in the nation offering TWICReady! services, Senture is uniquely qualified to help clients navigate the complex rules, defining the most comprehensive, efficient and cost-effective path to meet the new security standard,” said Steve Parsons, vice president of Senture. “We scoured the market for best-of-breed hardware and software solutions and we are pleased to team up with CoreStreet to offer our customers access to the market leading mobile identity verification software in the CoreStreet PIVMAN Suite.”

“The CoreStreet PIVMAN Suite offers unique functionality for mobile authentication and validation of PIV, CAC, FRAC and TWIC identity credentials,” said John Bys, executive vice president of CoreStreet. Our unique ability to combine status and off-card attributes -- even in lights-out and comms-out situations -- enables critical decision making even in worst case scenarios. Combining our software with Senture’s services and expertise provides our maritime and transportation customers with the assurance of a smooth TWIC implementation today, while allowing a straightforward migration for future requirements.”

This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.” 3
