Three Axis Academy Training Courses Qualify For BISCI CECs, NBFAA CEUs
Axis Communications recently announced that three of its courses have been recognized and accepted by BISCI for Continuing Education Credits and by the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) for Continuing Education Units.
The three, Network Video Fundamentals, Advanced Encoder Training and AXIS Camera Station Training, are part of Axis Communications’ Academy training program, designed to educate and certify partners enrolled in its Channel Partner Program.
The Academy offers courses starting at an introductory level and going on to higher levels with a focus on more specialized topics.
Network Video Fundamentals, Axis’ certification course, educates partners on Axis’ network video technologies and products, and has graduated more than 12,000 individuals in the past four years. The class is held 35 times each year in North America, and is delivered in all regions. Students leave class with the knowledge to sell, install, configure and support Axis products.
The AXIS Camera Station and Advanced Encoder classes are advanced, technical courses that allow students to become highly proficient with these products.
“We are excited that our courses now qualify for BISCI CECs and NBFAA CEUs,” said Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of Axis Communications Inc. “The Axis Communications’ Academy courses enable security and IT professionals to smoothly adapt their businesses to the growing opportunity of network video.”
To support Axis partners and customers globally, Axis Communications’ Academy conducts training at a number of locations in North America, Europe and Asia.
