Discount Security Cameras Opens New Customer Training Facility

Discount Security Cameras (DSC) announced the opening of its new customer training facility, a 1,000-square-foot training room containing the latest in audio visual training technology.

The facility can accommodate up to 16 students at a time with a lot of table space for hands-on learning. Students can get expert training on the latest CCTV and card access products available from DSC.

“For years we have had customers asking to come to our location to get professional training on our products. Now we have a state-of-the-art facility where we can host the training,"said Gary Bibeau, sales director of Discount Security Cameras. “Nothing equals face-to-face meetings and hands-on training to learn something new from top to bottom.”

Training topics will include specifying the best security products for the application, installing the products most effectively, and administrating the software for products like digital video recorders and card access panels. Standard training curricula has been designed for the different product lines, however, customers may custom design a curriculum that meets their specific needs. The training facility also will be used for in-house training when employees need to be educated on newly released products.

“Since the training facility is at the same location as our existing offices and warehouse, we can pull in other resources as necessary. For example, we can pull in one of the technical support experts to go over a topic in more detail if necessary or we can get other cameras out of the warehouse for demonstration purposes,” said Bibeau.

The company offers professional security cameras, security camera systems and video surveillance systems for business and home owners.
