Intransa Taps Grant Foster to be Sr. Director of Canadian Sales

Intransa, a video appliance company, has appointed Grant Foster to senior director of Canadian sales, overseeing sales functions, channel support and Intransa’s brand-awareness with end users and authorized distributors, certified dealers and integrators. Foster brings more than 14 years of sales, marketing and management experience in the technology and security industry as well as expertise in the banking, retail, government and transportation sectors.

“We are pleased to have Grant join Intransa to expand sales efforts and awareness in Canada. During the past year, Intransa has experienced strong product adoption despite a tough economy – and we continue to experience growing customer demand for Intransa’s video appliance solutions,” said Tom O’Leary, Intransa vice president of worldwide sales. “Grant’s strong leadership, deep understanding of customer and partner requirements and high energy will help to continue to drive this momentum and accelerate Intransa’s success and growth throughout Canada.”

Foster will also focus on building and driving awareness with Select and Select Elite-certified partners through joint marketing and sales efforts within each regional area. Each Select and Select Elite partner has hardware and/or software products that have completed Intransa’s performance and integration testing for risk-free integration and simplified installation, delivering improved reliability over commodity hardware.

“I am honored to lead Intransa’s sales efforts in Canada and look forward to the opportunity to strengthen our relationships in the country,” Foster said. “With industry-leading physical security solutions, Intransa excels at helping customers shrink the complexity and cost of integrating commodity servers and storage to meet business objectives, lower risk and reduce operating expenses.”
