Bosch Expands Coverage Areas and Keypad Support for G-Series Control Panels

Bosch Security Systems Inc. has enhanced its G Series control panels to allow customers to program more areas and install more keypads per system. The powerful platform driving the integrated intrusion, fire and access control panels now supports up to 32 areas, each with perimeter and interior partitioning.

Up to 16 supervised or 32 unsupervised keypads can be used with the upgraded D9412GV3 or D7412GV3 panels. Keypad options include the new D1265 touch screen device that features a simple menu, intuitive operation for novice users, and a color LCD screen for excellent visibility of system messages. Graphical buttons make it easy to enter data and commands, and an integrated on-screen help button accesses system instructions. The keypad’s sounder emits eight distinct warning tones and has an adjustable volume setting.

The D1265 keypad is easy to install, with a self-locking base and chassis design that includes an integrated bubble level. These features help to reduce keypad mounting time to improve the efficiency of technicians at customer sites. The keypad is compatible with the latest G Series control panels as well as with previously installed D9412GV2, D7412GV2 and D7212GV2 panels.

G Series control panels are installed in thousands of schools, retail centers, financial institutions and other commercial properties. A flexible family of control panels, the G Series can meet the specific intrusion, access control and fire system needs of virtually any facility configuration. With the panels, integrators benefit from fast keypad responses, easy firmware updates and support for multiple communication paths.
