Avigilon Expands North American and European Sales Teams

Avigilon has appointed seven new sales executives and promoted two Avigilon sales executives in North America and Europe.

Dennis Dyer, Regional Sales Director, North Central United States
Dennis Dyer will be responsible for managing Avigilon’s existing business and creating new sales growth in Wisconsin, northern Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. Prior to joining Avigilon, Dyer was regional channel sales manager at LifeSize Communications, an HD video conferencing, IP communications, and telepresence solutions company, where he was responsible for tripling revenue in just two years.

Daryn Drulias, Senior Director of Sales, Western United States
Daryn Drulias has been appointed senior director of sales for the western United States, responsible for managing business operations and generating new sales and partner growth in the region. Drulias comes to Avigilon from Pivot3, a provider of failover-protected servers and networked storage, where he was the director of sales for the Southwest region and a top producer.

Bill Parkinson, Regional Sales Director, Rocky Mountain Region
Bill Parkinson has been named the regional sales director for the Rocky Mountain region, where he will lead Avigilon’s expansion in the area. Parkinson joins Avigilon from IndigoVision, a supplier of IP video solutions, where he was the regional manager for the entire Western United States. While there, Parkinson grew the territory from the ground up and became a top producer.

Doug Macias, Regional Sales Director, Florida & Caribbean
Doug Macias has been appointed to regional sales director for Florida and the Caribbean, responsible for managing existing client and partner relationships and generating sales in the region. Macias comes to Avigilon from IndigoVision, where he served as the regional sales manager for the southeast United States and the Caribbean, and was a top producer.

Greg Wilson, Regional Sales Director, Mid-Atlantic United States
Greg Wilson has been appointed regional sales director for the mid-Atlantic Unites States, responsible for managing existing clients and creating new sales leads in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, Delaware, and West Virginia. Prior to joining Avigilon, Wilson was the sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region at IQInvision, a manufacturer of HD megapixel IP network cameras, where he was a top sales representative.

Badir Shir, Regional Sales Director, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria 
Badir Shir has been appointed regional sales director for the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and will be responsible for managing business operations and expanding sales and partner relationships in the region. Prior to joining Avigilon, Shir was the European channel manager for Arecont Vision where he was responsible for building and maintaining distribution channels across Europe and forging strategic relationships with key VMS and storage companies. Shir was also a key account manager at Videor E. Hartig GmbH in Germany and an application engineer for Tyco International Access Control & Video Systems.

Dominique Debusshere, Regional Sales Director, Benelux
Dominique Debusshere has been appointed regional sales director for Benelux and is responsible for managing business operations and expanding sales and partner relationships in the Netherlands Belgium, and Luxembourg. Domini Debusshere comes to Avigilon from Viziocam, Avigilon’s partner in Belgium.

Avigilon Promotions: Robin Hughes, Business Development Director, UK and Ireland and Robert Lay, Regional Sales Manager, UK and Ireland
In addition to these new appointments, Avigilon has promoted two top members of its European sales team. Robert Lay has been promoted to regional sales manager for UK and Ireland and Robin Hughes has been promoted to business development director for the UK and Ireland.
