Securityhunter Wins Security Solutions BPA from Health and Human Services Dept.

Securityhunter was awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide security services for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Program Support Center (PSC). Securityhunter will provide federal agencies with a simplified and accelerated means of securing a wide range of physical security solutions at discounted General Services Administration (GSA) rates, including those that meet Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) requirements.

The BPA provides for streamlined and timely security related procurements at reduced GSA rates through PSC, which provides support services to HHS and other federal government agencies worldwide. Products and services provided through this BPA include HSPD-12 compliance solutions, risk assessments, physical access control systems, security system integration, closed-circuit television, design-build, security management and support services which include life cycle support.

In a GSA bid, open to both small and large businesses, Securityhunter was selected as the single source provider. “We are honored, as PSC’s selection, to assist in securing our nation’s federal space,” says Michael Rogers, CEO of Securityhunter. “Securityhunter is a small business, and this award reflects the government’s ability and willingness to work with small businesses that meet or exceed their requirements. This says a lot about our company, our amazing team, and the forward thinking of PSC.”

The team consists of Securityhunter, PricewaterhouseCooper’s federal practice, Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Chugach Federal Solutions, Tetra Tech and Certipath LLC.

The BPA has a $500 million ceiling spanning five years, and offers a full spectrum of security products and services found on GSA Schedules 70 and 84. These offerings are available at reduced GSA rates, which make purchasing through this Securityhunter BPA more cost-effective. The simplified nature of purchasing security through this BPA will also help customers acquire products and services more efficiently, making it an attractive vehicle for federal agencies seeking to quickly acquire new solutions and upgrade existing systems and equipment.
