VideoIQ Names Alicia Pereira to be New East Coast Regional Director

VideoIQ has announced the addition of Alicia Pereira to its sales team in the position of eastern regional sales director. In this role, Pereira will be responsible for driving sales and distribution of VideoIQ's line of intelligent video surveillance systems, including iCVR-HD cameras, iCVR dome cameras, iCVR encoders, and the iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders within the eastern region.

Pereira has held senior level sales positions at Network Video Technologies and Honeywell. Most recently, Pereira was northeast district manager for network video technologies, where she led the region to record sales and customer acquisitions. Pereira also spent a number of years in the wireless technology space with both Agere (formerly Lucent) and then a spinoff of Agere, Ciclon. Pereira’s sales success and industry insight provide an excellent complement to VideoIQ's already strong team, and she will help build on the strong momentum VideoIQ has taken into 2011.

"By delivering the most innovative all-in-one video surveillance solutions available, VideoIQ is helping revolutionize the video surveillance industry," Pereira said. "I am excited to be joining the rapidly growing team and extending VideoIQ's already impressive track record of success."

"Alicia is joining us at an exciting time for VideoIQ," said Holly Tsourides, vice president of sales for VideoIQ. "The security industry continues to adopt video analytics and distributed storage at a record pace and Alicia brings the experience and know-how needed to further expand our solutions footprint in North America."

Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
