Security-Net’s J. Matthew Ladd to Participate in PSA-TEC 2011 Panel

J. Matthew Ladd, chairman of the marketing committee for Security-Net, will serve as a panelist in the annual State of the Industry panel discussion at PSA Security Network’s annual PSA-TEC conference in Westminster, Colo. The panel, which will tackle current business issues facing systems integration firms and the overall security market, will serve as the opening presentation for the PSA-TEC educational program, which begins May 17.

As part of the panel, Ladd will call on his more than 30 years of industry experience as president of The Protection Bureau, a regional systems integration firm serving the Mid-Atlantic states, and as an officer of Security-Net, which services national and international customers in many diverse vertical markets. The group will field questions from moderator Sandra Jones of security industry consulting firm Sandra Jones and Company, on current challenges facing systems integration firms, such as increasing market consolidation and the changing relationship with equipment/technology suppliers, growing internal and external competition and the shifting financial model from project to service-based revenue.

Held every spring, PSA-TEC is a five-day event targeted to address the broad spectrum of needs and requirements for all levels of system integrators. The conference offers technical training, advanced management, in-depth certification, as well as a look at the latest products and technology. The 2010 event, which marked PSA-TEC’s 30th year, drew nearly 950 systems integrators, industry consultants and other security professionals.

Other panelists participating in the State of the Industry panel discussion include Bill Bozeman, CEO and president, PSA Security Network; Tony Whaley, vice president, RTKL Associates Inc. and Building Industry Consulting Services International; Dave Carter, managing director, Security Network of America; Paul Cronin, CEO, 1nservice and Chuck Wilson, executive director, National Systems Contractors Association.

The panel discussion will begin at 8 a.m. (MDT).
