Florida Emergency Services Agency Implements Audiolog for Public Safety Solution from Verint

Verint Systems Inc. recently announced that an emergency services organization in the state of Florida has implemented the Audiolog for Public Safety solution in its centralized 9-1-1 operation. The solution supports the 20 local agencies that fall under its jurisdiction. Using the software's call recording, playback and archiving capabilities, the organization is benefiting from the ability to better respond to citizen and community needs and emergency situations, as well as support increased emergency response requirements associated with certain times of the year, including hurricane season.

Developed to enhance operations and improve service quality, accuracy and response, Audiolog for Public Safety is used in rapidly evolving command and control centers, network operations centers, public safety answering points and other emergency communications environments. The software is designed to help today¹s agencies reduce liability and risk, and comply with industry standards and regulations, including those associated with Next-Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1). With the Audiolog solution that was implemented in July 2011, the Florida-based agency is not only benefiting from advanced call recording, but also the ability to instantly recall incident-based recordings to support investigations with increased access to key information.

Verint's public safety solution delivers robust recording across a range of traditional and next-generation channels.

" All of the data Audiolog captures is instantly accessible to first responders, helping improve the effectiveness of emergency investigations, preparedness and response," says Gary Trudo, vice president, public safety and mid-market solutions, Verint Systems. "We¹re very pleased to be working with this Florida agency by providing the technology that today's mission-critical operations need to achieve response, quality and accuracy gains; expedite incident investigation; and enable staff to hone their skills and effectiveness."
