Morse Watchmans Introduces Next Generation Key Control System

Morse Watchmans has announced its newest key control product. The KeyWatcher Touch key control and management system targets enterprise-level applications as well as smaller applications, and the KeyWatcher TrueTouch accompanying software is designed to run all programming, remote functions and reports.

The new system will be unveiled at next month’s ASIS 2011 Conference and Trade Show in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 19-22 2011. Visitors to the Morse Watchmans booth will have the opportunity to win an Apple iPod Touch as part of the introduction promotion.

“The KeyWatcher Touch hardware and KeyWatcher TrueTouch software represent our next generation of advanced key control solutions for a growing and maturing marketplace,” said Fernando Pires, VP sales and marketing, Morse Watchmans. “We are pleased to offer these new additions, which give our customers an even larger selection with all the performance, value and functionality they have come to expect from Morse Watchmans.”

The KeyWatcher Touch is engineered around a new CPU board with a built-in SD card slot, USB connectivity 10/100 Ethernet and audio output jack. User features include a 7-inch touchscreen on the front panel, access via anoptical fingerprint reader and card reader (complete with alarm and access control integration capability), as well as larger onscreen buttons and an easier to use interface that offers step by step instructions. Keys available for access can be called up on the screen and “My Keys Out” and “Find Key” are additional new operations that provide users with the location of a specified key, which keys have not been returned and when the key will become overdue.

KeyWatcher TrueTouch software offers control and management of the system including programming, remote functions and reporting with the server as the primary interface for the client software and database maintenance.
