FLIR Awarded IDIQ Contract for Integrated Base Defense from PM Force Protection Systems
FLIR Systems, Inc., a company specializing in design, manufacture and marketing of sensor systems that enhance perception and awareness, recently announced that the company has been awarded the Force Protection Omnibus contract through U.S. Army Product Manager, Force Protection Systems (PM-FPS). This five year, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a maximum award value of $997 million.
Under this contract, FLIR will provide best in class integrated systems, associated services, and products to support inside-the-wire and outside-the-wire integrated base defense operations. Work under this contract will primarily be performed out of the FLIR facilities in Alpharetta, GA, and Elkridge, MD.
