Vision Security Technologies provides Security-Net with geographical coverage and a strong marketing presence in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Founded in 2000 by President and CEO Barry Komisar, the company designs and installs CCTV, access control, intrusion and audio systems for healthcare, universities, manufacturing, utilities, malls and office complexes, as well as city, state and federal government facilities.

The company has completed several high profile installations, including Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama’s security management system, Hyundai’s only plant in the United States; campus-wide projects at the University of Alabama and Auburn University as well as a new video project for Vanderbilt University.

“As a respected integration firm in the Southeast, Vision’s wide ranging expertise in a variety of vertical markets and technical disciplines is a great addition to Security-Net,” said Tom Asp, president of Security-Net.

Security-Net focuses on the integration of end-to-end security solutions including technologies such as access control, video surveillance, emergency mass notification and perimeter detection systems in aerospace, commercial offices, university campuses, airports, government, utilities, hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Individual member companies, which make up the company’s regional locations,

“The strategic goals, vertical markets and technologies in Security-Net’s portfolio align closely with those of Vision Security Technologies,” says Barry Komisar, president and CEO, Vision Security Technologies. “We’re excited to bring our expertise and enthusiasm for the security industry to Security-Net.”
