Micro Key Solutions Appoints New Leadership

A new president takes the reins at one Florida-based, 27-year-old security alarm firm.

Micro Key Solutions, provider of software solutions for the security alarm industry, appointed Victoria Ferro as its new president.

Victoria Ferro, spent the past 10 years honing all her security industry skills and knowledge at Micro Key Solutions working in various departments including tech support and product management. Now, after temporarily filling in for company founder Wayne Torrens over the past few months, she has been appointed president.

“Under my leadership, Micro Key will continue to adhere to the same core values of providing innovative technology and superior customer service to the security alarm industry,” Ferro said. “That is a promise.”

Former president and company founder Wayne Torrens will now serve at CEO, overseeing growth, application development and software enhancement for end users. Torrens boasted about Ferro’s leadership abilities.

“She has exhibited the passion and desire to grow this company while displaying her innate ability to work as a team leader, and is someone with creative ideas for taking this company to the next level while continuing to meet the needs of the industry,” Torrens said.

The announcement was made over Micro Key Solutions’ new live webcam to nearly 100 media, customers, prospects and software vendors.
