Grandstream Interoperability of GXV IP Video Cameras with Bluecherry Digital Video Recording

Grandstream Networks, manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, and Bluecherry, an Ubuntu Linux-based surveillance application that supports both IP and analog cameras, recently announced the successful completion of interoperability testing between Grandstream’s ONVIF-compliant IP video surveillance cameras and Bluecherry’s DVR software. Residential and small business customers can now add Grandstream’s complete family of GXV36xx Series IP Cameras and GXV35xx IP video encoders to Bluecherry DVR solutions. 

"Following requests from our customers to add Grandstream cameras to Bluecherry video surveillance solutions, we completed an effortless testing and certification process,” said Curtis Hall, founder of Bluecherry. "Adding Grandstream cameras with our Linux-based digital recorder/surveillance solutions allows us to expand our offerings as well as offer an affordable, feature-rich and high usability solution that is crucial to the safety and financial success of any organization. Grandstream was responsive and provided all the documentation and technical assistance we needed to quickly add the Grandstream product line to our latest product release.”

To meet the varying application needs of customers for high definition/low light conditions, Grandstream cameras range from CMOS IP, fixed dome, cube cameras and more. Grandstream’s line of award-winning IP video surveillance solutions deliver crisp, clear picture quality, rich telephony features, full compliance with industry standards and broad interoperability with most service providers and 3rd party SIP based VoIP products.
