NTT America, Integralis Partner to Ease Global Enterprise Cloud Deployments

NTT America, a global infrastructure services provider and wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, and Integralis, a global provider of IT security and information risk management solutions, recently announced an ongoing partnership to provide global enterprises with secure, high performance, streamlined and cost-effective use of cloud computing.

NTT America brings virtualized global data centers and high speed networks to enterprise cloud computing, while Integralis offers comprehensive Managed Security Solutions (MSS) to form a complete cloud computing solution for enterprises.

Global enterprises interested in the potential of cost efficiencies available from moving to the cloud have faced two major hurdles: the intensity of the security requirements needed for mission critical applications and data, as well as the unwillingness to abandon current and often substantial investments in legacy systems. By leveraging the significant investments in the infrastructure assets of NTT Group, NTT America and Integralis provide one of the only options for global enterprises to enjoy the economics of the cloud in a secure and organized fashion.

“Our experience in managed security services has provided us with insights on the requirements and process needed to ensure success in full cloud deployment,” said Michala Hart, director, global alliances, Integralis. “Together with NTT America, we give customers a clear understanding of their options, use our expertise to provide the ability to outsource security in a cost effective way and finally provide a plan that protects brands, assets and investments in current systems.”

“Tightly integrating managed security services into our data center services allows us to make cloud computing a reality for large global enterprises,” said Doug McMaster, vice president, Data Center Services, NTT America. “Working in partnership with Integralis enables us to bring not only a complete and cost-effective solution to enterprise-level cloud implementations, but to do so in a way that causes the least disruption to IT staff and budgets.”

Both NTT America and Integralis are business entities within the NTT Communications Group. This joint effort keeps MSS tightly integrated with NTT America’s data centers resulting in increased security, minimized risk and greater compliance. In addition, our effort expands to best use of sister company capabilities including Dimension Data and NTT DATA group companies.

Ask most companies about their future technology plans and the answers will most likely include AI. Then ask how they plan to deploy it, and that is where the responses may start to vary. Every company has unique surveillance requirements that are based on market focus, scale, scope, risk tolerance, geographic area and, of course, budget. Those factors all play a role in deciding how to configure a surveillance system, and how to effectively implement technologies like AI. Read Now

  • The Stage is Set

The security industry spans the entire globe, with manufacturers, developers and suppliers on every continent (well, almost—sorry, Antarctica). That means when regulations pop up in one area, they often have a ripple effect that impacts the entire supply chain. Recent data privacy regulations like GDPR in Europe and CPRA in California made waves when they first went into effect, forcing businesses to change the way they approach data collection and storage to continue operating in those markets. Even highly specific regulations like the U.S.’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) can have international reverberations – and this growing volume of legislation has continued to affect global supply chains in a variety of different ways.
