SMARTTRAC Introduces New Contactless ISO Card

SMARTRAC N.V., a developer, manufacturer and supplier of RFID transponders and inlays, announced that the company has enlarged its well-established product portfolio of white contactless ISO cards.

The new CISO FRAM card operates at 13.56 MHz and offers various benefits such as memory capacity of 2 Kbytes, 64-bit UID, high-speed data transmission and reception, anti-collision function, anti-theft (EAS) command, FRAM memory data protection and data retention of 10 years.

Due to its ferroelectric characteristics, the card easily withstands radiation sterilization processes making it a convenient and secure solution for access control applications in medical environments and the healthcare sector.

Based on features such as customer-specific laser engraving or inkjet printing of identification numbers on the card surface, the CISO FRAM card can be used as 'electronic type plate' making additional stickers and barcodes obsolete.

SMARTRAC will display the new CISO FRAM cards at ISC West.

The new CISO FRAM card has been developed based on the company's CISO product family which is available in low and high frequency and is optimized for access control, loyalty, and e-commerce applications.

SMARTRAC CISO cards are characterized by high quality standards and excellent electrical performance. Made from lightweight and durable materials such as PVC and composites, the cards can be conveniently processed with any common card printers and readers. Compliance with ISO/IEC 15693 standards ensures easy integration into customers' existing systems.

As an independent developer, manufacturer, and supplier of RFID transponders and inlays, SMARTRAC offers its CISO cards with ICs from various renowned chip manufacturers.
