Milestone Received Axis Application Development Partner Award

Milestone Systems has received the Axis Application Development Partner Award for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, getting recognized for its successful collaborative work of business partners.

Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software, was named the Application Development Partner (ADP) of 2012 for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean by Axis Communications, the global leader in IP networked surveillance equipment. This award highlights the work that has been achieved in the partnership between Milestone and Axis in the region.

Axis hosted its first Latin American Axis Channel Convergence Conference (ACCC) November 7-9 at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City. This event was attended by many business partners, and the work of those who excel in different areas was recognized, with the award presentation going to Milestone in the category of ADP (Application Development Partner) of the year in the region. Milestone Systems was recognized for its work on several projects developed with Axis.

"Milestone was awarded this year's ADP recognition in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean for the dedication shown by its sales and technical team in the region, by having a stable product that is 100% compatible with advanced camera systems by Axis and for sharing the same strategies that we have for the Latin American market," said Fernando Esteban, Regional Manager of Axis Communications for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

The collaborations between both companies started over a decade ago where these global leaders have their headquarters in Denmark and Sweden. The relationship between Milestone Systems and Axis in Mexico dates back to 2005, resulting in numerous implementations in which the combination of both systems has improved security in the country, with one such reference being a project that was carried out in Mexican prisons this year.
