Quantum Secure Appoints John Skowronski as VP of Global Sales and Announces Record Revenue
Quantum Secure, a provider of enterprise software to manage and streamline security identities, compliance and analytics across disparate physical security systems, has appointed John Skowronski as vice president of global sales.
Skowronski brings a strong combination of experience, enthusiasm, domain knowledge and a demonstrated record of achievement to Quantum Secure. His new role will focus on continuing to drive the momentum of the company's Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) software by expanding the sales footprint internationally, and by developing a strategic channel program and partner-driven business to accelerate sales.
“John has a proven track record of building global sales and business development infrastructure,” said Ajay Jain, Quantum Secure's president and CEO. “Given Quantum Secure's rapid growth and widespread acceptance in the market, we'll be leveraging John's professional experience to expand our sales team to address high-growth areas.”
Skowronski was formerly vice president of business development at physical security information management (PSIM) supplier, Proximex Corp, and led the acquisition of the Company by ADT. While at ADT, John built global sales infrastructure of Proximex to achieve dramatic acceleration of revenues and market presence of the company. Other previous positions have included Director of Strategy and Marketing at UTC; EMEA Business Development Director at Tyco Fire &Security; Director of National Accounts at ADT Security Services; and Regional Manager at Northern Computers.
In addition to bringing John Skowronski on board, Quantum Secure also announced that 2012 was once again a record year for sales and revenue, reflecting end-users' growing reliance on the company's software solutions to address challenges of physical identity and access management. Quantum Secure's growth surge builds on the successful acquisition of marquee customers such as General Motors, United Health Group, Nvidia, Visa International, AT&T, the U.S. Department of Energy's Oakridge and Idaho National Labs, Seattle International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Navistar, DeBeers, The New World Trade Center, AMD, etc.
