Platinum Tools Appointed Bob Howard Regional Sales Manager

Platinum Tools, a solution provider for the preparation, installation and hand termination of wire and cable, announced that Robert M. Howard, with senior level experience in sales, marketing and business management, has joined the company to further develop its growing portfolio of regional and national accounts.

Howard comes to Platinum Tools with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the last seven years at ICM/Belden where he was instrumental in supporting numerous, large, corporate accounts in A/V, broadcast, connectivity, and the security segments. By joining Platinum Tools, he will add to and continue to support its growing list of distributors.

“I am excited to start a new challenge within Platinum Tools and look forward to working with their great team to further develop their already large distribution network,” commented Howard. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on both top-quality products and service.”

Lee Sachs, Platinum Tools, Inc. president and general manager, added, “Bob’s experience, integrity and industry knowledge makes him a key addition to our sales and support team. We view his appointment as an indicator of our commitment to being a leading company in the security, datacom, telecom, and electrical wiring markets. The addition of many new products and the increasing demands from our customers led us to look for an addition to our team who would fit in with our mission of exceptional service. It is very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Bob’s extensive experience to fill this need. I’m confident Bob will play a key role in our continued growth.”
