Safeplace Introduces Solid Electronic Safe with Latest Security Features

Safeplace Introduces Solid Electronic Safe with Latest Security FeaturesSafeplace is pleased to introduce the latest addition to its trusted line of global hospitality guestroom security products - the Solid Safe. Solid combines innovative design with the latest security features for an affordable electronic guestroom safe.

Safeplace's Solid Safe features a large, red LED display with visual feedback and illuminated keypad for safe operation. Solid is a standard left or right opening safe and comes in two optional colors - black or pale gray - and four different models: Solid Compact, Solid Laptop, Solid Wide and Solid Floor for a sleek immersion into the room's décor. Solid also includes a low-battery indicator and an optional power outlet for laptop recharging with two laptop compatible sizes. Its intuitive security features include automatic sleep mode after five incorrect codes are entered and a 500-event audit trail record. Solid is everything hotel guests need in a safe.

Solid also features IR communication with Safeplace's new UltiMax Service unit. The PDA-like handheld allows hotel staff to quickly and securely address service issues involving Safeplace electronic safes, such as forgotten access codes. The wireless UltiMax interacts with safes via infrared communication. Because UltiMax runs on rechargeable lithium ion batteries, making it immune to power failure, it can quickly open guest safes even in an emergency. Its tamper-proof, override-resistant, 500-record audit trail adds another level of security, both for guests' valuables and the hotel's liability.

For smaller hotels with minimal staff operation, Safeplace has also devised the SparKey service unit. Featuring many of the same functionalities as UltiMax, SparKey was specifically developed to provide owners of smaller properties with a cost-effective solution for offering enhanced guest service. All Safeplace safes require minimal service and conform to international quality, safety and environmental standards. Every Safeplace product is backed by a worldwide distribution and service network.
