Less than an hour ago, a school shooting was reported at Ronald McNair Discovery Learning Academy in Decatur, Georgia, the elementary school named after Ron McNair, the astronaut killed in the Challenger disaster in January 1986.

DeKalb County police responded to a call reporting shots had been fired at the elementary school. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male invaded the school and fired about 30 rounds from an AK 47.

McNair Academy students have been evacuated to Walmart on Gresham Rd to be reunited with their parents.
