Hubbell Lighting TOTUS Solutions and Axis Integrate LED and Surveillance into One Platform

Hubbell Lighting and TOTUS Solutions will debut Spaulding Lighting’s popular Cimarron LED fixture (CL1) controlled by the Integrated TOTUS Surveillance Platform (iTSP) with a built-in Axis Communications multi-megapixel IP video surveillance camera (AXIS M3027-PVE) during the 2014 ASIS International Expo at Axis Communications’ booth #1023.

“The combination of our award-winning Spaulding Lighting Cimarron LED fixture, TOTUS’ state-of-the-art surveillance and communications technology and Axis Communications’ advanced camera offers customers the perfect energy efficient, safety and security solution to meet their outdoor site lighting needs,” explained Richard Abernethy, vice president of brand management at Hubbell Outdoor Lighting. “This innovative one platform solution is a real game changer and will be introduced to additional brands within the Hubbell Lighting product family in the near future.”

“By combining Axis Communication’s advanced multi-megapixel IP video surveillance camera with our iTSP into Spaulding Lighting’s fixture, we’ve created an Active Deterrence fixture to help prevent and deter crime instead of just recording it while it occurs,” said Gregory Williams, chief executive officer of TOTUS Solution. “This is hands down the best surveillance light fixture on the market today and we are excited about working with these two lighting and security leaders.”

“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Hubbell Lighting and TOTUS Solutions on this very exciting product offering,” remarked Fredrik Nilsson, general manager, North America for Axis Communications. “The AXIS M3027-PVE camera is perfectly suited for the integrated Spaulding Lighting Cimarron, iTSP fixture.”
