New March Networks ME4 Series IP Cameras Deliver HDR, 4MP Resolution

March Networks, a global provider of intelligent IP video solutions, is pleased to introduce its new ME4 Series Cameras. The new cameras incorporate High Dynamic Range (HDR) to deliver clear video in all lighting conditions, including environments such as banking branches and retail storefronts where parts of the scene are very bright and others very dark. Able to capture facial features, license plates, bill denominations and other critical details, the cameras' 4MP resolution strikes an ideal balance between video clarity and bandwidth and storage efficiency.

With four distinct form factors to choose from – as well as multiple mounts and accessories – the ME4 Series provides organizations with flexible, complete and very cost-competitive video surveillance coverage. The cameras are compatible with March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs and powerful March Networks Command software, enabling time-saving conveniences such as centralized video management, mass device management and system health monitoring. They are also compatible with third-party video recording solutions via the ONVIF Profile S standard.

The ME4 Series portfolio includes the:

ME4 Outdoor IR Dome, with a P-Iris; a 2.7-12mm lens for added flexibility; extreme hot and cold temperature ratings (as low as -67°F / -55°C and as high as 131°F / 55°C); and dynamic Infrared (IR) technology that automatically adjusts the camera's IR LEDs to ensure the proper exposure, enabling the camera to capture objects in the dark at distances of more than 131 feet / 40 meters.

ME4 IR MicDome, with a built-in, moisture-protected microphone for complete video and audio capture in a small form factor (~ 4 inches / 10.5 centimeters in diameter). The camera is available with a wide-angle or medium-range lens, allowing customers to capture the area of coverage and amount of detail they require.

ME4 IR Bullet Camera, available with a 2.7-12mm lens and P-Iris or a 9-22mm DC iris lens and autofocus for added flexibility; remote zoom and focus; an IP66 rating for watertight installation; 3D noise reduction; and built-in dynamic IR technology to capture objects in the dark at distances of more than 164 feet / 50 meters.

ME4 Box Camera, available with a 2.8-8mm or a 8.5-50mm P-Iris lens to better match the required field-of-view (FOV); auto backfocus to easily fine-tune the FOV; True Day/Night to capture details in black and white; and an optional environmental housing for use outdoors in temperatures as low as -40° F / -40°C.

"This new ME4 Series provides our certified partners and customers with the ability to select exactly the right IP camera for their application and to combine different models and mounts for optimal surveillance coverage," said Nathan Dinning, Edge Devices Product Manager, March Networks. "While each camera offers its own distinct features and capabilities, all four deliver 4MP, HDR video capture to ensure maximum performance with just the 'right' amount of detail in all lighting conditions."
