Pivot3 Names Mark Maisano as Vice President of Channel Sales

Maisano brings over 15 years of channel expertise, delivering record-setting sales and revenue growth in competitive markets for companies like Acronis, Ingram Micro and Seagate Technology

Pivot3 today announced Mark Maisano as its vice president of channel sales. Maisano brings over 15 years of channel expertise, delivering record-setting sales and revenue growth in competitive markets for companies like Acronis, Ingram Micro and Seagate Technology.

“Pivot3 is clearly the technology leader in hyperconverged, and with 100 percent of our products sold through the channel, we have an enormous opportunity to build sustainable, high-growth initiatives in multiple regions,” said Maisano. “I’m thrilled to join the Pivot3 team and look forward to working with our broader partner ecosystem to drive mutually-beneficial business development and sales efforts.”

Maisano brings extensive experience building strategic corporate alliances that help partners optimize their return on investment and accelerate global go-to-market strategies. During his tenure at Ingram Micro, Mark managed a multi-billion-dollar program, increased profitability and positioned the company as the leading distributor for multiple best-in-class product lines.

At Pivot3, Maisano will focus on building strategic partnerships and driving channels sales for multiple data-intensive solutions such as video surveillance, end-user computing and datacenter modernization in the financial services, healthcare, transportation and defense markets. According to IDC, HCI is expected to grow to $5.9 billion in 2020, which translates to 32.3 percent of the total market. By strengthening Pivot3’s channel program, Maisano will help partners capitalize on this trend with solutions that address technical and operational requirements and reduce IT complexity and cost.

“We’re excited to have Mark join Pivot3 to lead our channel program and create new paths for partner success,” said Ron Nash, CEO of Pivot3. “2016 brought explosive growth in Pivot3’s channel – a 275-percent increase in deal registrations in the second half of the year – and we’re expecting even more momentum in 2017. Mark will play a key role in shepherding that growth and strengthening Pivot3’s market leadership as we provide the most efficient, scalable and highest-performing HCI solution available in the channel.”
