Three Killed in California Shooting Spree

Three men were shot and killed Tuesday when a wanted gunman open fired on the streets of downtown in Fresno, Calif., according to police.

The gunman, who has been identified by local media as 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad, first shot at a PG&E truck killing one passenger inside. He then walked along the street and fired 14 more rounds in three separate locations. Two more people were killed in the gunfire.

Police have confirmed that Muhammad, who has a lengthy criminal history that includes weapons violates, drug offenses and making terrorist threats, has been detained by police. Witnesses say he shouted “Allahu Akbar” while being arrested.

Muhammad’s Facebook page shows that he had made comments revealing he did not favor white people and spoke out against the government several times. All of the victims in the shooting spree were white males.

Muhammad was recently wanted in connection with a murder that occurred last Thursday.
