Experience at the Training Center

Demo the latest in electronic access control in a state-of-the-art technology center

The best way to experience the latest in product technology is in a state-of-the-art showroom. And just as you can demo an extensive product line in a sleek Apple Store, SALTO Systems now offers a newly-opened showcase and training center located in the heart of New York City.

SALTO Systems has achieved great success in the United States over the last several years and along with that accomplishment, there has been an increase in the demand for product training and information according to Jennifer Stack, vice president of strategic business development for SALTO Systems.

“While we continue to engage in the more traditional routes of brand and product exposure, we understand that SALTO’s extensive line of electronic lock products— including hardware, software, and cloud solutions— can be too complex to adequately cover in just a few minutes in a busy trade show booth,” Stack said.

By opening the SALTO Systems XSperience Center in New York City—just two blocks from Penn Station—Stack said they are providing an option for dealers and customers along the East Coast to conveniently demo new products and features or undergo product training without the time zap that accompanies trade shows and traditional training scenarios.

“Not everyone is able to take a few days from work to attend a trade show or an extensive in-house training,” Stack said. “We hope that by offering a convenient location in a destination that is centrally located and is within a one- or two-hour train ride, our customers and prospects will have an even better opportunity to explore our products.”

SALTO Inspired Business Partners (IBPs)—dealers who market and sell SALTO electronic locks to their customers—are encouraged to use the XSperience Center as “their” resource to enrich product and training offerings.

“We share a strong commitment to our IBPs and by offering extensive training and product education in a site that’s accessible to them and their client base, we hope to strengthen that relationship even more,” said Stack.

Once they arrive at the New York City XSperience Center, they will find a showcase that exemplifies the innovation that has made SALTO Systems a leader in the electronic access market. SALTO revolutionized access control with a pioneering approach that featured the first stand-alone, batterypowered electronic lock and the SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) data-on-card technology. SALTO released its next generation of wire-free networked electronic escutcheons and the first wireless access control system that combined a stand-alone locking device with online, real-time capabilities—all without using wires or mechanical keys.

The SALTO XSperience Center is packed with a broad range of these quality products that can be used to secure access points from high traffic doors, exit devices, glass doors, lockers, cabinets, and beyond, to efficiently extend security to more areas of an installation. In addition, the XSperience Center includes the breadth of SALTO’s technological platforms, including the SALTO ProAccess SPACE web-based management software and SALTO KS Keys as a Service cloud-based solutions, as well as mobile, wireless, and offline options.

“It’s very effective to see a demonstration of how SALTO Systems’ electronic lock solutions are meant to work together in a seamless fashion,” Stack said.

The New York City XSperience Center, which officially opened on March 30, has already begun offering registration for training sessions. A sample of the events that the XSperience Center will host in the upcoming months will be hands-on, educational sessions covering:

  • Mobile solution options – JustIN Mobile App, Bluetooth Capability, Integrations
  • Web-based management software – SALTO ProAccess SPACE
  • Cloud-based access control – SALTO KS, Keys as a Service
  • Control Unit CU4200 and how it works with third party access control elements

“Just like our innovative electronic lock solutions, SALTO Systems offers an immersive experience for new dealers, potential customers, and those needing product training – all conveniently located in New York City,” Stack said. “We’d like to welcome all partners, potential customers, architects, and consultants to come see our broad range of products and latest technologies for all vertical markets— from commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality and beyond.”
