Hytera US Inc Launches the PNC560 Handheld Smart Computer, Scanner, and PoC Radio All in One Device

Hytera, a provider of innovative communication solutions, announces the launch of the Hytera PNC560, a groundbreaking Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radio, handheld smart device, and scanner designed to revolutionize nationwide business operations and remote workforce communications. PoC provides instant and secure nationwide communications at the push of a button.

Utilizing AT&T or T-Mobile networks and SIM cards, the PNC560 supports nationwide instant group or individual voice and video calling and texting which means you can easily collaborate seamlessly with instant group voice and video calling and texting features, enhancing team coordination and efficiency. The device seamlessly switches between cellular and Wi-Fi networks, providing uninterrupted and reliable communication no matter the location.

The Hytera PNC560 is a powerful and rugged handheld smart device that combines the functionality of a compact mobile computer and a data collection terminal with the seamless and instant group communications of a professional PoC device. This innovative device is equipped with a wide array of features, making it an indispensable tool for businesses across various industries.

The PNC560 boasts a built-in infrared scanner, enabling businesses to efficiently manage warehouse, retail inventory, and medical applications with ease. The infrared scanner head reads 1D and 2D barcodes and QR codes in milliseconds from up to two feet away. Running on the Android operating system, the device supports a wide range of business applications to enhance productivity, such as 3rd party barcode scanning and logistics applications and vertical business-related applications.

The PNC560 is compliant with MIL-STD-810-G for shock and vibration meaning it is rugged and durable and can survive drops onto hard surfaces. It is also rated IP68, meeting the highest rating for dust and water protection. This industry rating means it is impervious to dust and fine powders and can be submerged under 5 feet of water for 30-minutes. The PNC560 is purpose-built to withstand challenging work environments and ensures long-lasting performance in demanding professional communications locations.

Featuring a 6.3-inch Corning Gorilla glass touchscreen display with a dew drop notch, the device’s large screen enables multiple simultaneous operations. It supports wet hand and glove touch interaction and provides a clear display even in bright sunlight.

With AI-based digital noise suppression technology, the PNC560 delivers crystal-clear voice communications even in noisy environments, ensuring every message is heard loud and clear. The radio also includes echo reduction, wind noise cancellation, and feedback howling reduction for excellent voice quality in loud environments like a noisy warehouse, crowded hospital, or busy construction site.

The PNC560 features three separate high-resolution cameras, including an 8MP screen-facing, wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto and 48MP wide-angle rear-facing lenses. The cameras support low-light photography and HDR (High Dynamic Range) for clear images at night or strong light-contrast environments. The innovative lens stabilization algorithm reduces blurring associated with camera motion.

The PNC560 is fully supported on the Hytera HALO Push-to-Talk over Cellular platform, including the HALO Nationwide subscription service, HALO OnSite customer-owned PoC systems, HALO Bridge Radio over IP Gateway, and HALO Dispatch web-based group communications and location tracking application.

"Hytera is thrilled to present the PNC560, which embodies the cutting-edge technology and exceptional features that businesses need for efficient scanning with seamless communication," said Tom Wineland, VP of Sales at Hytera. "With the PNC560, we are providing a unified communications solution that empowers businesses to streamline operations, enhance team collaboration, and ultimately achieve higher productivity levels."
