Salto North America Names Bob Wilkins Director of Marketing and Category Management

Salto North America has appointed Bob Wilkins as director of marketing and category management, further strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its market presence and deliver solution-driven access control technology.

Wilkins, based in St. Louis, will oversee the growth of both the marketing and category management teams. His role will focus on positioning SALTO WECOSYSTEM in the market, supporting business partners, and driving brand awareness across North America.

“I am thrilled to welcome Bob Wilkins to Salto North America as our new director of marketing and category management,” said Salto North America Sales Strategy Director Colin DePree. “Bob will play a key role in strengthening our position as we continue focusing on solution-oriented offerings. His efforts will focus on ensuring the SALTO WECOSYSTEM is well-positioned in the marketplace, supporting our partners’ growth, and driving growth through brand awareness and activation across the industry.”

Wilkins brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial hardware, product strategy, and marketing to Salto. Prior to joining the company, he served as senior vice president of marketing and product development at Hager Companies, where he led brand growth, managed high-performing product and marketing teams, and developed strategies that aligned with market trends and customer needs. His tenure at Hager also included leadership roles in pricing strategy, design engineering, and marketing communications.

“I can’t express how excited I am to join Salto and have the opportunity to work with the talented people throughout the organization, but specifically with the marketing and category management teams,” Wilkins said. “The Salto culture, along with the products and solution offerings, made the decision to join the company a no-brainer, and I look forward to being an integral part of future growth and expansion.”

Wilkins earned a master’s degree in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama.
