The Justice Department announced today the release of a report on its critical incident review of the law enforcement response to the tragic school shooting at Robb Elementary School. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland announced the review shortly after the tragedy on May 24, 2022, in which 19 children and two teachers died at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. The report provides a thorough description of the critical incident review that has taken place over the past 20 months.
With each campus, or mass shooting for that matter, Secret Holt feels the pain of the day her daughter, Bailey, was shot and killed at Marshal County High School in rural Kentucky. That tragedy was more than four years ago, and nerves are still raw.

An employee allegedly shot and injured three co-workers at a Smile Direct Club manufacturing facility in the Antioch neighborhood of Nashville, TN, early Tuesday, officials said.
Five people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning at the intersection of Orleans St. and Bourbon St, in the heart of the French Quarter, on Aug. 1. The shooting was reported by police at around 3 a.m.
An ordinary evening on 37th Ave. in Queens turned into the scene of a mass shooting Saturday night. Ten people were shot and wounded as members of the Trinitarios gang targeted three men standing in front of a barbershop. All victims are expected to survive.

Every week, though it seems daily any more, people involved in mass shootings are taking the lives of scores of individuals. Another sad fact is that it is not just one person at a time. So far this year, there have been 272 mass attacks.

A Texas man has been arrested and charged with a felony after authorities say that he was planning a mass shooting at a Walmart. Law enforcement in Kerr County, TX, were able to intercept the man’s plans before any violence took place, according to the sheriff’s office.
More than a half dozen people have been shot and killed as a public transit employee open fire on coworkers at a Northern California rail yard this morning. The rail yard is located in downtown San Jose, about 50 miles south of downtown San Francisco.
