Risk Ledger Launches US Operations in Maryland

The London-based cybersecurity firm brings its network-centric supply chain security platform to the North American market.

Risk Ledger has announced its expansion into the United States with the establishment of a new corporate presence in Maryland. The move marks a strategic effort to introduce the company’s "active supply chain security" model to the American cybersecurity sector.

The company's platform aims to replace traditional third-party risk management, which often relies on static, point-in-time assessments. Instead, the service utilizes a network-first approach that connects organizations and suppliers on a shared interface. This model is designed to provide continuous visibility into digital ecosystems, allowing firms to identify concentration risks and systemic vulnerabilities in real time.

Maryland officials said the company will enter the state through the Global Gateway Soft Landing program. Risk Ledger intends to focus its initial U.S. efforts on building a go-to-market team.

To lead the expansion, the company has appointed Matthew Fox as the head of U.S. strategy. Fox, an industry veteran, previously held leadership roles at Mimecast and Cymulate.

The firm currently employs 75 people in the United Kingdom. Management expects the U.S. workforce to grow over the next year as the company scales its operations across North America to combat the global rise in supply chain-related cyberattacks.
