LifeSafety Power's NL1 module, a network appliance, extends the company’s DataLink smart power management capability by monitoring, reporting and controlling power supply functions over a local or wide area network using a browser interface or remote management software. Adding the module to LifeSafety's FlexPower system allows integrators and dealers to remotely manage customer sites by tracking battery health, querying system diagnostics and performing general troubleshooting. Users can set e-mail alerts for AC interruptions, system faults, battery drain, cabinet intrusion and time to service.
