CRN Wireless
The new CRN AlarmPath units will feature 4G cellular technology that supports 4G, 3G and 2G communications on the T-Mobile network with roaming capabilities to other carriers. The communicators will feature CRN’s Optimal Connect technology that automatically chooses the highest speed cellular network and transmits alarm signals at the fastest speed possible to the central station. The dealer can install the alarm communicator without concern over network availability or future changes to carrier service. The AlarmPath 4G communicators provide the ideal solution for mission critical residential and business wireless alarm communications.
Honeywell
Gamewell-FCI by Honeywell has introduced the S3 Series fire alarm control panel that features an intuitive touch screen display. The product can be used as a standalone system or as part of an extensive network serving the fire protection and emergency communication needs of an individual building or a multi-building campus. The touch screen device has three main functions, including: system status, event details and service mode.
Southwest Microwave
Designed for the protection of fence lines, open areas, gates, entryways and rooftop applications, the all-weather INTREPID MicroWave 330 offers a 1500 ft. detection range as well as robust programming, intrusion detection and remote management capabilities. Specialized detection algorithms continuously monitor alarm and tamper status, signal strength and detection parameters. Enhanced crawl and vehicle detection optimize probability of detection (pD), while unique Fresnel suppression algorithms successfully discriminate between intrusion attempts and environmental disturbances or other false targets, mitigating risk of site compromise while preventing nuisance alarms. The system’s superior K-band performance identifies slow-moving intruders and prevents interference from external radar or other microwave systems.
Quantum Technology Services
The new digital seismic-acoustic unattended ground sensor from Quantum Technology Services has a wide, omnidirectional range which can detect footsteps more than 150 feet away. The 2 x 2 in. cylindrical sensor can also detect and classify land, water and air vehicles, digging, machinery and tunneling. The device—which has no moving parts—also features integrability with other systems, no special handling requirements, power management to support remote long life applications and more.
TRACER
With just the push of a button, TRACER lets responders instantly know who is in trouble, where they are located and how to get to them. Notifications can be sent directly to the police, administrators, security and other personnel. These alerts can be viewed on a computer desktop or smart phone as the situation unfolds on camera. While intercoms and phone systems traditionally provided the means for assistance when needed, developers at TRACER realized that a more convenient solution would alert and provide real-time video of emergency situations.
The SafeAwake smoke alarm aid works with a household smoke alarm providing additional life-saving fire emergency notification while a person sleeps. Its tactile stimulator feels like a stiff poke in the ribs and the low frequency, high decibel alarm is easier to hear than the high frequency sound of a smoke alarm for seniors whose hearing has diminished with age. Seconds count in a fire emergency.
DynaQuip Controls
WaterCop Z-Wave combines the trusted WaterCop system benefits of early electronic leak detection and automatic water shut-off with the additional feature of operating in a Z-Wave enabled network. The WaterCop Z-Wave control valve can be locally or remotely controlled using a Z-Wave gateway interface. Integrated with other automated home devices such as alarms and environmental controls, the WaterCop Z-Wave system offers homeowners an added level of convenience, control, and security to protect their residences. For added flood protection, WaterCop Z-Wave wireless sensors are placed near appliances and monitor for plumbing leaks or sudden flooding.
Atsumi Electric Co Ltd
The newly developed TriWatcher method from Atsumi Electric Co., Ltd. realizes high precision outdoor vigilance by discriminating/eliminating false alarm factors. Choose from 2 kinds of coverage patterns: wide angle, where the unit is installed in a high place, or pet alley, where the unit does not detect movements of objects that are lower than the height installed. By adopting a special visible-light cut filter, the unit considerably blocks external lights such as sunlight or car headlights, etc. It is equipped with newly designed spherical Fresnel lens which improves the unit's non-detect performance of small objects such as small animals, etc.
System Sensor
When dangerous amounts of CO are detected, the System Sensor CO1224T and CO1224TR (round) CO detectors alert residents by sounding and flashing a temp 4 signal alarm. With 24/7 central station monitoring, residents are guaranteed protection whether they are away from home, sleeping or already suffering from the effects of CO. The CO1224T and CO1224TR CO detectors include RealTest technology, so they can be tested using a CO gas agent, fully meeting the requirements of NFPA 720:2009. Simply put the detector into RealTest mode, spray a small amount of CO into the detector per the installation instructions, and within seconds the detector will alarm, indicating successful gas entry.
Byte Brothers Inc
The Low Voltage Pro allows users to test all cables, including coax, CAT, alarm, speaker and phone. Users also can test devices such as switches, alarms, batteries, CCTV cameras, IP devices, speakers and phones. The device can store 250 reports to submit with an invoice. Similar to a smartphone, users can download test APPs from Byte Brother’s test App library.
