Altronix Displays Expanded Line Of Product Offerings

Altronix displaying an expanded line of products offering new technology and design innovations at ISC West Booth 20075.

Among several new additions on display include enhanced rack mount video power supplies, an expanded line of UTP video products, and new rack mount access power controllers. The new additions to Altronix’s comprehensive suite of products are designed to offer improved efficiency and value by delivering more than just power.

“Expanded product offerings, new designs and increased flexibility for system designers and installers underscore our ISC West exhibit this year,” said Alan Forman, president of Altronix.

Highlights of the exhibit include the sleek new VertiLine Rack Mount Video Power Supplies. These units offer selectable 24VAC or 28VAC outputs with the ability to shut down any output when needed, and are available in 8, 16 or 24 outputs with a wide range of power ratings in a compact 1U rack mount chassis for standard 19-inch EIA racks.

On display is the enhanced HubWay Series UTP Transceiver Hubs which now includes the HubWay, HubWayLD, HubWayLDH and HubSat Series products. These new products are available in a variety of models that transmit video and RS422/RS485 data over a single CAT-5 or higher structured cable to simplify video installations, and eliminate the need for coax. Units are available with or without integral power with video transmission distances ranging from 750 to 3,000 feet.

Also being featured is the new Maxim Series Rack Mount Access Power Controllers which deliver the integrated functionality of the company’s industry proven Maxim Series wall mount units in a 2U chassis for standard 19” EIA racks. Features include 8 or 16 independently selectable Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure power outputs with a choice of 6 or 16 12VDC or 24VDC outputs, or eight of each. The new units are available in a variety of models with different power ratings. Fire Alarm Interface is field selectable for any or all outputs with individual LEDs to indicate lock status.

Altronix also announced that their line of wall mount Maxim Access Power Controllers, Maxim Expandable Power Systems Series and StrikeIt1 Panic Device Power Controllers have recently earned the heralded cUL listing for Canada in addition to the previously acquired UL listing for access control applications.

Additionally, Altronix is introducing the ACM4 Access Power Controller. This controller distributes 12/24V AC or DC over four independently controlled Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure outputs to power and control electric strikes and magnetic locks. Fire Alarm Interface is field selectable for any or all outputs with individual LEDs to indicate lock status.
