IndigoVision Module Receives Lenel Factory Certification

IndigoVision, a provider of IP Video security systems and a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program, has received Lenel factory certification for its interface to OnGuard.

“IndigoVision has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program,” said Josh Phillips, director of marketing for Lenel.

The interface between the two systems is achieved through an integration module in “Control Center,” which is IndigoVision’s security management software. This allows tight integration between OnGuard access control and IndigoVision IP Video systems across an IP network, the company said.

OnGuard alarms and events can trigger a wide range of actions within the IndigoVision system, including starting recordings on an IndigoVision Network Video Recorder (NVR), displaying live video from cameras on monitors and “Control Center” viewing panes, moving PTZ cameras to specific locations or sending notification e-mails. All OnGuard events appear within the Alarm Log and can, for example, be viewed when playing back recordings in “Control Center.”

The Lenel OnGuard interface is currently one of 22 integration modules that allow IndigoVision’s IP Video to integrate with a wide range of security systems including access control, intruder detection, BMS and Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS).
